In January of 2020, Health Reimbursement Arrangement offerings were expanded to include the Individual Coverage HRA (ICHRA). An ICHRA allows employers to reimburse their employees’ individual health insurance premiums on a tax-free basis as an alternative to traditional group health plan coverage.
